SATs start on Monday for Year 6 pupils across England — and while the tests matter, your child’s confidence and wellbeing matter even more ❤️ A few reminders for parents this week: 📚 Encourage effort, not perfection 😴 Prioritise sleep and calm evenings 🍓 Keep mornings simple with breakfast and reassurance 💬 Avoid last-minute pressure or “extra cramming” 🎉 Celebrate how far they’ve already come SATs are just one small snapshot in your child’s journey — they do not define intelligence, potential or future success. For many children though, the next big step is actually the move to secondary school. That transition to Year 7 can feel exciting… but also overwhelming: • new routines • bigger workloads • organisation and independence • confidence and friendships That’s why our Get Ready for Year 7 programme starts in June — helping pupils build confidence before September, not after problems appear.
We focus on: ✅ organisation & study skills ✅ maths & English confidence ✅ independent learning habits ✅ easing the transition to secondary school If you’d like to find out more, book a free discovery call here:
