Exam season can feel intense—for students and educators alike.


I often encourage my students to take short, intentional pauses. Stepping back, even briefly, can improve focus, retention, and overall performance.


If I could choose the setting for that pause, it would be Claude Monet’s Garden - where I just was giving a reminder that clarity often comes when we give ourselves space to think.


As tutors, parents, and professionals supporting learners, it’s worth remembering: productivity isn’t just about pushing harder, but knowing when to pause.
